What you’ll be doing
- Coordinate and execute payroll bookings accurately and promptly.
- Maintain accurate and complete payroll records.
- Ensure that payroll processing complies with local and national tax and labor regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and ensure company compliance.
- Generate payroll reports and related analyses for management and other departments.
- Collaborate with related companies to ensure all transactions comply with company policies and relevant legal regulations.
- Conduct intercompany account reconciliation to ensure transaction consistency and accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies and imbalances in intercompany accounts.
- Generate periodic intercompany reconciliation reports and financial analysis.
- Provide support in preparing financial reports and analyses related to intercompany operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency.
- Work closely with accounting and finance teams to ensure accuracy in accounting and financial records.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Significant experience (3+ years) in accounting, currently working preferably in the payment industry or a related field, prior Big 4 experience is highly valuable.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software tools and Excel, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions.
- Proactive and results-oriented attitude, with leadership and change management skills.
